Two squads of enforcement personnel were needed Friday afternoon to apprehend a pair of skaters in the northern section of Petrosino Park. Amidst the hubbub of the evening rush, NYC Park Enforcement officers were issuing tickets to the youths for skating in a no-skate zone.

Police are searching for a forty-something man wanted for sexually assaulting a young girl (age 9) in the New York Public Library branch at 192 East Broadway.  The crime reportedly occurred last Thursday at approximately 5 pm.

Saturday’s powerful wind gusts revealed some choice ghost signage at 88 Delancey, between Orchard and Ludlow.  Half of the metal fixture was ripped completely clear from its housing, landing on the sidewalk.  Police units and a sanitation team were swiftly mobilized for the cleanup effort.  The other half is safe and sound for now, but [...]
