Over a month after our last update at 109 Ludlow, the future taqueria finally has a proper name. Behold, Las Feliz and its new mirrored signage, which was unveiled yesterday evening. Back in late January, Suba was sold to the owners of nearby gastropub Spitzer’s Corner.  At the time, Grub St reported that the new spot would eventually become a trendy taqueria called MPDRAW, and that management hoped for a March opening.  Obviously that never happened; typical.  A sidewalk shed was erected a short time [...]

It’s spring cleaning at the former Suba space on Ludlow. Looking at the garbage stacked outside, it seems that the eatery operated its business with some dated computing equipment.

Suba’s replacement, a taqueria called MPDRAW, was slated to open back in March. Just a tad behind schedule at this point.

Last month, Grub St reported that Suba on Ludlow would be replaced by a new taqueria named MPDRAW. Work at the future trend spot is now underway, with a new sidewalk shed already in place. Great, just what this street needs is more plywood and construction.
