Don’t Chain Your Bike to this Ludlow Scaffold

Two warnings were levied against this blue bike, currently chained to the scaffolding outside the stalled Hotel Ludlow site.  The passive aggressive urban etiquette techniques (dated May 31) are not working, though, since the bike remains in place as of this morning.

Miami Advertises on Houston

There’s a big promotional push happening in the neighborhood right now for travel to Miami. Taped to light poles along the Houston corridor, from east to west, are dozens of advertisements with the tagline “express yourself.”  As if people here really needed to be told to visit Florida.
