Bowery Boogie | A Lower East Side Chronicle

A number of readers have recently emailed us regarding the mysterious white-robed man who walks the streets of the Lower East Side.  His entire outfit – shoes, pants, shirt, hat – is all white. And there’s usually a plastic bag containing white matter dangling from his waist.  He is everywhere!

Sitting quietly in the flower bed of the Delancey traffic median near Orchard Street is this old-school Sanyo cash register.  Left for dead.

This half-eaten chocolate birthday cake for April was discarded on the Bowery, just above Kenmare.
