Bowery Boogie | A Lower East Side Chronicle

It’s back.  For two straight days, production crews will park and occupy a substantial chunk of SoHo to shoot White Collar. Thursday morning through Friday evening, filming is scheduled to commence on Spring Street between Wooster Street and Broadway, with some additional spillover onto Lafayette and points east.

Larry David and company aren’t through with the Lower East Side just yet.  Over a week ago, Curb Your Enthusiasm was spotted filming all across the neighborhood, including scenes on First Avenue near Eleventh Street and on Fourth Avenue.

Friends with Benefits is coming to the neighborhood.  Indeed, between 7 am and 5 pm tomorrow, a substantial swath of Nolita will be monopolized for the film shoot.  According to flyers in the immediate vicinity, filming is centered on Prince Street between Mulberry and Bowery; also, Elizabeth Street between Prince and East Houston.

Friday night, Larry David was seen filming Curb Your Enthusiasm on First Avenue near Eleventh Street.  The HBO show has been on a marathon downtown production schedule for the last month.  Thanks to Barbara for sending along the following photo. EV Grieve also spotted LD in a sling earlier in the day on Fourth Avenue.

Larry David loves downtown Manhattan.  After marathon filming across Greenwich Village and NoHo a couple weeks ago, Curb Your Enthusiasm will be on the Lower East Side today.  And if those past shoots are any indication, be prepared for tons of Haddad’s trucks and HBO personnel.
