Bowery Boogie | A Lower East Side Chronicle

White Collar Wednesday is upon us.  Later today, the easternmost part of Bleecker Street will play host to filming crews and their encroaching trailers.  We followed the trail of fluorescent “no parking” signs from Lafayette to Bowery, down to East Houston, and back again.

Now that the Law & Order franchise is donesky, there is a rather large void in Gotham-based serial programming.  However, the USA venture White Collar is definitely in a position to inherit the throne, as it were.  Or at least part of it.  Filming for the second season is already underway.

The new FBI-based drama series, White Collar, continues to gear up for its big October 23 premiere on USA.  Last month, the show was filming on Orchard Street.  Today, the shoot is on Spring Street between Lafayette and Broadway.  All day.  Watch your step!
