Some high-tech interactive advertising is now afoot inside the ground level of 38 Delancey, which explains the new touch-screen. The windows are skinned with posters showing app logos and the lame-o slogan of submission (“droid does apps”). No sign of tenants just yet.

Time Warner Cable has been turning up the heat lately on Fios.  Commercials for the service air seemingly every break, touting the so-called merits of its monopoly and how Verizon pales in comparison.  The spot which plays ad nauseum is “counterfeit sunglasses,” which no doubt strives to capture a Canal Street bodega type of vibe.
