The end of the road is near for the sitcom Ugly Betty, currently in its fourth season. Back in January, the Emmy Award-winning show was canceled amidst lackluster ratings. However, last-minute filming is still necessary to complete the final handful of episodes.
Throughout the day today, a new movie called Mr. Tambourine Man will fittingly be filming in Bob Dylan’s old Greenwich Village stomping grounds. Based on the placement of requisite “no parking” signs and traffic cones, crews will likely set up on West Third Street, just east of Sixth Avenue.
Filming for Morning Glory makes a return to the downtown area today, despite the hard rains of the past few days and the impending snow storm. The shoot will take place on Bleecker Street, between MacDougal and Thompson.
Liz Lemon and company are coming to the Lower East Side today. Swapping the usual midtown environs for downtown, the perennial NBC comedy, 30 Rock, will be filming select scenes in the neighborhood from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Film crews are slated to take up positions along Orchard Street, between Rivington and Stanton.
