The foothills of the Thompson LES are undoubtedly a tough place for boutique shops, especially 179 Orchard Street. Now a jewelery store called ATTITUDE by Jeanne is stepping up to the plate.  According to the proprietor, Jeanne Hudson Gonzalez, soft launch is set for September 28, with the official grand opening event slated for October 1.  The space will feature jewelery by Gonzales, as well as artwork by other local independent designers and artists.  And since the boutique needs some sort of gimmick to distinguish itself from the crowd, ATTITUDE will publicly display a mini metalsmith bench on which Gonzales creates her work.  For more information, jump over to the Facebook fan page.
