White Slab Palace Noise Issue
Add White Slab Palace to the list of excessively noisy Lower East Side offenders. Catering to the B&T set this past Saturday, the bar’s selection of skull thumping music well after 2 am was simply overpowering. With windows fully open to the street, the tunes were audible nearly a block and a half away. And so was the screaming of liquored-up patrons on the sidewalk. It’s one thing when loud club music is contained in a “soundproof” environment, yet completely different when the noise pollution recklessly fills the air.
We were quite surprised and felt the necessary urge to capture and document the issue.
