House of Savoia to Open at 147 Essex

Ever since Essex Optical closed over the summer, 147 Essex Street has been in a state of constant renovation.  The property was completely gutted, its storefront signage stripped, all to make way for the newest retail tenant.  A tenant whose identity was in flux.  Until now.  Meet House of Savoia NYC, a longtime clothier and outfitter for the entertainment industry, slated to open its Lower East Side outpost in about a week.
