Coming Soon: Any Old Iron at 149 Orchard Street

Nearly three months after Hairy Mary’s Vintage vacated 149 Orchard Street, another trendy tenant is preparing to move into the space.  Currently a vendor in the Williamsburg flea market scene, menswear boutique Any Old Iron is slated to open sometime next month.

Beneath the sawhorses, mitre saw, and stacks of 2×4’s, the interior is defined by wooden floors and a two-toned pink and blue color scheme.

We wonder whether the namesake is a nod to the British song made popular by Harry Champion and Pete Sellers.
