Stand by Me, Midnight at Sunshine Cinema
One of our favorite movies here at Boogie HQ is Stand by Me, and we are stoked to see it again on the big screen. The eighties classic – starring River Phoenix, Corey Feldman, Wil Wheaton, Jerry O’Connell, and Kiefer Sutherland – will be the midnight feature at the Sunshine Cinema this weekend.

Stand by Me was actually based on a short story by Stephen King called “The Body,” which was included in Different Seasons. The book is a collection of four novellas, three of which made the jump to the big screen (The Body, Rita Hayworth and Shawshank Redemption, Apt Pupil). Definitely worth reading.
