World Cup Pop-Up PlayBeautiful to Open at 201 Mulberry

To capitalize on World Cup fever this summer, a new soccer-themed pop-up shop will open at the 201 Mulberry event space on June 6. And judging by the description, it promises to be quite an experience.

PlayBeautiful is an interactive, community-driven, pop-up experience in downtown New York celebrating the 2010 World Cup. Featuring real-time match viewing of every World Cup game, live demonstrations by the soccer industry’s top performers, video game competitions, film screenings, private events and an unparalleled retail experience – showcasing the recently-launched FIFA Collections brand – PlayBeautiful will be the nexus of World Cup fever in New York City.

The shop is also hiring associates to help with the project.
