The prime real estate at the southwest corner of Allen and Delancey is to become a cafe tentatively called Berkli Parc Cafe.  The news is not too surprising, though, considering the recent positioning of other upscale restaurants near this particular intersection (e.g. Sorella, White Slab Palace).

Berkli Parc Cafe at 61 Delancey is currently seeking a beer and wine license, and is listed on the Community Board 3 SLA docket for next week (July 15).

Prior to November 2009, 61 Delancey was the headquarters of Indoor-Outdoor Flooring Supplies, but downsized to a location a half-block away at 55 Delancey. Once this latest culinary venture comes to fruition, the four corners of Allen and Delancey will be occupied by restaurants/cafes – White Slab Palace, Starbucks, Subway, and now, Berkli Parc.
