Adrian Grenier Scopes Out Mystery Restaurant at 146 Orchard

And the plot thickens over at 146 Orchard Street, where a mystery restaurant has been brewing for over five months running. Yesterday afternoon, a reader happened upon an interesting entourage scoping out the scene.

Our tipster informs us that Adrian Grenier was checking out the restaurant with nightlife impresario Joey Verdone and two others (sadly, no pictures). A new VIP celebrity spot perchance? Strange things are definitely afoot here.

Earlier this year, many speculated that Camille Becerra was planning to bring her embattled Paloma restaurant to 146 Orchard.  But internal squabbles seemed to put this rumor to rest.  At least for the time being.  Still no word yet on name or opening date.
