Keanu Reeves at Sugar Sweet Sunshine Yesterday

Yesterday afternoon, Keanu and company were busy filming scenes inside Sugar Sweet Sunshine bakery on Rivington Street for the indie flick generation Um. Our Tweet feed was a-buzzin’ all last night with star-struck residents who encountered the actor. One reported seeing Mr. Reeves scarf down some cupcakes, and snapped pictures to boot.

Even BaoHaus is throwing support behind Keanu, as evidenced by the new cardboard sign hanging in the window of the eatery. Disgruntled PAs on hand said filming is shipping north to Tarrytown today.
