Mick Rock Brings Photo Exhibit to Morrison Hotel Gallery

Beginning October 26, the Morrison Hotel Gallery at 313 Bowery (the old CBGB Gallery) will host an exhibit on the photography of legendary lensman Mick Rock. The so-called “Man Who Shot the 70s” is responsible for capturing some of the most iconic music-star images of the era. Everyone from Bowie, Lou Reed, and Queen, to Lady Gaga.

This Morrison Hotel show is basically just PR for his new coffee-table book, Exposed: the Faces of Rock n’ Roll, which includes 200 previously unreleased photos among its pages.

The exhibit runs through mid-November.
