167 Orchard Street Rises Above the Threshold

For a few days this week, the block between Rivington and Stanton Streets was roped off to accommodate a truck-borne crane. In that time, a skeleton of steel supports was anchored in place. Upon completion, the new and improved 167 Orchard Street will remain a low-rise neighborhood establishment, capping out at two stories. Time to exchange those slippers for boots.
