Neighburrito Calls it Quits
Back in October, we ran an exclusive story about a pot farm that was discovered in the basement of 127 Rivington Street. It was the cellar located beneath Neighburrito. At the time, the owner’s lawyer assured us that the Mexican joint had no connection with the subterranean grow room.

However, now two months removed from said blockbuster event, Neighburrito has called it quits. The branded flags and sandwich boards are gone, security gates shuttered, and phone line disconnected. Earlier this week, though, we caught a quick peek of the interior; it’s in a state of gut renovation.

Meanwhile, we were told yesterday that owner Dave Currence wants to focus solely on his most recent acquisition, Tiny’s Giant Sandwich Shop.
