Oliva Mural Whitewashed
Last month, we brought word that Spanish tapas joint Oliva was working on a new vision for its Allen Street facade. Until this week, the mural occupying this space reflected the all-important immigrant fabric of our beloved neighborhood.

Sometime yesterday, the plywood canvas above the subway entrance was completely whitewashed. It’s now ready for some new paint. According to restaurant ownership, a team of artists will create the new art piece. Stay tuned!
