Some routine electrical maintenance?  Facade alteration?  Or perhaps it has something to do with the graffiti problem there of late?  Regardless of the reasoning, this gallery at 243 Bowery has a new solo exhibition launching on Friday, entitled “The Happy Ever After.”  It features choice photographs and video shot by artist Katy Grannan, and will run through the end of April.
