Lady Gaga HBO Concert Special Advertisements

Two months prior to the blockbuster Duane Reade sighting, her majesty Lady Gaga was spotted prancing along the snowy streets of the Lower East Side in little more than her skivvies.  A camera crew was in tow at the time, filming B-roll footage for an upcoming HBO concert special called Lady Gaga Presents the Monster Ball Tour at Madison Square Garden.  The program airs May 7.

Like so many other street campaigns, the ad blitz began in the subways and is now streetside.  Those ubiquitous iPad 2 billboards are swiftly being overtaken by Gaga in an Austin Powers-esque Fembot pose.  Even select storefronts are cashing in on the trend, like 125 Orchard Street, home of Lea’s Dress Shop.

Yet rather than show the worthless thirty-second HBO trailer, we feel that this video by Steve Kardynal more accurately portrays Gaga fever.  Synchronized to “Born this Way.”
