The Egg Rolls & Egg Creams block party is organized by the Eldridge Street Synagogue, as usual, and will feature a melting pot of entertainment for all ages.  Everything from Chinese opera singers and Klezmer music to language lessons and Mah Jongg.  Here’s our tip: after stuffing face, be sure to check out the relatively new glass window inside the sanctuary, and the Torah scribes (sofer) that repair the scrolls in plain sight.  Fascinating stuff!
