Clover Smoothie Outpost Now Open at 26 Canal

The corner of Canal and Rutgers Streets has undergone a seismic change within the last couple years.  After tchochke-oriented ABA Gift Shop departed in October 2009, the space was quickly converted into a restaurant supply depot for chairs, booths, and other sedentary equipment.  A bus kiosk joined the property shortly thereafter.  However, neither business would survive at this address, and in their wake, a complete 180.  Indeed, a little touch of Irish in Chinatown.

Now 26 Canal Street is a hub of frozen treats.  Not too long ago, the cornershop property transformed into Clover, a sweet-spot offering smoothies, ice cream, and shakes.  And patrons can either order from a take-out window or enter the store.
