Carlos Campos come early. Interior furnishings arrived at 75 Orchard Street within the last couple weeks, and quickly took on a domino-like floor design. At first we thought it to be a brief art installation in the lead up to an eventual opening. Not quite.

Indeed, despite teaser poster promises of an autumn launch, the high-end menswear boutique surprised the neighborhood, and instead opened its doors at 75 Orchard Street over the weekend. Saturday was the first day of business at this maiden brick-and-mortar threads shop. Until now, Carlos Campos styles were only available at established specialty retailers and online.

75 Orchard Street last housed another like-minded boutique called Kai D. Utility. Like so many other such shops in the neighborhood, it lasted at this location for just over one year.
