“Gossip Girl” Filming on the Lower East Side Again Today

Without much semblance of a reprieve, teen drama Gossip Girl is returning to the Lower East Side today to film scenes for the upcoming fifth season.  Much like last week, it appears cast and crew will again be holed up inside Angel Orensanz at 172 Norfolk for shooting.  Probably some sort of party situation.  Again, this is Gossip Girl, so expect the usual turnout of camera-wielding teeny-boppers alongside seasoned paparazzi.

Pretty much all the real estate between Essex and Norfolk (north of Delancey) is reserved for the onslaught of cast campers, craft services tables, and the like.  So if you happen to be there, feel free to send along some photos from the shitshow shoot.

The season premiere is September 26 on CW.  We’ll be pounding shots of tequila at the bar…
