Katie Holmes and Suri Spotted at Little Cupcake Bakeshop

Actress Katie Holmes, who was the apple of many a boy’s eye as Joey Potter in Dawson’s Crack Creek, has quite the sweet-tooth. Boogie reader WT spotted the movie star last week dining on desert at the Little Cupcake Bakeshop with daughter Suri in tow.

Our tipster submitted the above photo and the following report on the whole scene at the 30 Prince Street bakery.

It was funny because we were in line in the bakery waiting to pay for our cupcake when we noticed two cute little girls run over to the counter and back to their table where Katie and another woman were sitting. It seemed like the kids were racing each other back and forth, from counter to table. We took notice because one of the girls had the cutest little gold high heeled shoes on. We couldn’t believe, there she was, sitting right in the middle of a packed cafe with her daughter and another woman who I later realized was Katie’s Mom. The nicest thing about it was that while most were gawking and smiling, like me, everyone left them alone and let them eat in peaceand I must add they had a table full of sweets. Katie must have some sweeth tooth and she even bought two tshirts for the girls. I wanted to take a picture inside but didn’t want to bother her (or her two bodyguards) so I waited till they exited the shop.

Just a few days later, Holmes was reported to have had something of a “cupcake emergency” after returning to California. Not that we care or anything.

Residents of Extell’s “affordable tower” at 227 Cherry Street are barking foul over the proliferation of pitbulls, despite the no-pet policy. We are told by current tenants that leases contain a strict stipulation prohibiting pets in apartments, and that management (Wavecrest) seems deaf and/or slow to act about the apparent violations. By some estimates, there […]
