Another Olek Yarn Cart Spotted on Orchard

The yarn carts are seemingly multiplying.  Just a few days after an Olek crocheted creation became a depository for trash at Rivington and Suffolk Street, another such piece was spotted on Orchard.  Fresh off the loom, as it were.

This image has been archived or removed.

This particular yarn cart is presently chained to the 147 Orchard storefront, home of the Volang boutique.  The camouflage pattern-work utilized has a bit more pizazz, and includes a heart on the frontside.  A heart-cart, if you will.  We get the feeling that this one won’t gather as much garbage…

What items would you like to see Olek crochet?  Sound off in the comments!

Someone is Growing Corn Stalks on Delancey Street

Talk about farm to table… A guerrilla farmer is growing corn on Delancey Street, but you wouldn’t necessarily notice on first passing.
