Looking at the New Jeffrey Lewis Record
Prolific Lower East Side anti-folk artist Jeffrey Lewis is the subject of a recent NPR broadcast, his latest work having appeared on “All Things Considered” with music critic Robert Christgau. The brief three-minute segment was about Lewis’ new long-player, dubbed A Turn in the Dream-Songs, out now on Rough Trade.

Among other items of note, we learn that Lewis, born in the East Village of 1975, also writes comic books and illustrates the artwork for all his albums; also, his dad was a Brooklyn-born motorcycle mechanic who frequented the social circles of politicos and musicians. Full segment below:
