Tenement Museum Officially Opens Visitor Center at 103 Orchard Today
It’s a go. The name is painted on the facade; the trademark red-and-white lettering is affixed to the marquees; books are in the windows. Yes, inauguration day has finally arrived for the Tenement Museum. After a two-month-long delay reportedly attributed to occupancy issues, the doors of the Sadie Samuelson Levy Heritage Center at 103 Orchard Street are finally opening
today. Officially officially. UPDATE: the move is today, opening is FRIDAY.
