Boogie Buskers: Cowboy Mime in Delancey Station [Video]

It’s time to welcome back our Boogie Buskers feature which has been on hiatus for a minute.

Can’t recall the last time we saw a legit mime in the subways, but leave it to the Lower East Side to sate our appetite. Yesterday evening, a bronzed busker entertained rush hour straphangers waiting for the northbound F train in Delacey station. Yet this dude was playing for the big bucks – loose change didn’t elicit a response, only dolla billz yo.

Definitely not the best mime out there. Standing on that crate, this urban cowboy was anything but statuesque. Plus the dude sat down to count his tips periodically. Tsk tsk…mime faux pas. Funny either way, though.  Is that you John Wayne; is this me?
