Reinerland Jewelry Ditches 162 Allen Street

Neither striptease card seller JillAnne nor Reinerland Jewelry could make it work at 162 Allen Street after the departure of Rico-Perez Products in the summer of 2010. We now learn that the latter local business vacated the premises earlier this month after a short tenure of roughly ten months. Reinerland is not down for the count, though. According to the official Facebook page, the five-year-old independent designer operation is now sharing space inside the like-minded Corrente Boutique at 179 Orchard Street.

Reinerland Jewelry is definitely no stranger to moves. In the last two-plus years alone, the fashion brand has already seen the innards of three different Lower East Side stores.
