Clayton’s Corner: Pebbles and Jon of Centre-Fuge Art Project
The subject of this week’s Clayton’s Corner is the Centre-Fuge public art project on East First Street between First and Second Avenue. Dreamed up by Pebbles Russell and Jonathan Neville, the Lower East Side endeavor transformed a boring semi-permanent trailer – a satellite office for workers on the Second Avenue Subway – into a vibrant piece of street art. Clayton Patterson snapped a photo of the co-creators.

The murals will change every couple months until November. This first cycle includes work by Osvaldo Jiminez, Matt McCormick, Samuel Jojo Ashford, Optimo and Dr. Whom.
