“Now You See Me” Filming Clogging Broome Again

If you live near Broome and Orchard Street, don’t bother grabbing that morning bagel or coffee. For the second day running, the street is a set for Now You See Me. Power-tripping PAs are already exerting their faux-authority over pedestrians and residents of nearby buildings.  One Boogie reader was pissed because the crew forced her, with warm breakfast in hand, to wait ten minutes before entering her home.

In the meantime, don’t be fooled by all the heavily-armed police personnel pacing the area or the SWAT vehicles,  as it’s all part of the movie. We are told this is strictly a stunt scene that only involves doubles. No Isla Fisher or Jesse Eisenberg for the paparazzi, but apparently Mark Ruffalo is around.
