Word leaked last week that Uli Rimkus was opening a summer outpost of her iconic Max Fish bar at Asbury Park on the Jersey Shore. The temporary watering hole – Max Fish Beach Bar – is now open on weekends, but daily post-Memorial Day. Version 2.0 is reportedly made to “look like Max Fish but beachy, with blues, greens and clouds.” Pool tables are replaced with Skee-Ball, decidedly less punk rock.
