Elevate Restaurant & Lounge Opening Inside Wyndham Garden on Bowery

The rally for 128 Hester at its recently-revealed lobby doorstep in late August was the most action seen at 93 Bowery in quite some time. The Wyndham Garden Hotel, initially earmarked for a March 2012 launch, pushed back the official ribbon-cutting yet again. The latest opening date is now set at October 15. One week.

With final preparations underway inside this eyesore of a Bowery lodge, more details are coming to light. Like the resident restaurant. Lettering affixed to the marble exterior indicates that Elevate Restaurant & Lounge is the winner. Ownership explained the concept as “modern Japanese” fare. Menu items include Crawfish Tempura, Sous Vide Duck Breast, Tuna Loin “a La Plancha,” Pan Roasted Free Range Chicken Breast. Expected opening, as per Facebook, is tomorrow.

And apparently the balconies boast wrap-around solar panels, which can capture and produce roughly $20,000 of electricity per year.
