Heart of Chelsea Animal Hospital is opening a branch on the northern-most block of Eldridge Street. Construction has begun, and news of the fact that it’s not another nightclub has brought much relief to the neighbors, including the Eldridge Street Block Association. Many in the area had been upset over the closing of the previous tenant, East Village Veterinarian, and are overjoyed that a new animal doc is renovating the space. Heart of Chelsea has a great rep, offering both conventional and alternative treatments for animals.
