7-Eleven Plans ‘Community Input Event’ Regarding Seward Park Location

7-Eleven muscled its way into Seward Park and now wants to play nice with the neighbors. Their forthcoming convenience store at 403 Grand Street is somewhat of a flashpoint issue with the locals, some of whom fear the loss of quality of life. To soften the uppercut, so to speak, corporate brass is holding a “Community Input Event” later tonight inside the co-op (264 East Broadway). Their goal is to garner feedback as to how their new chain outpost can accommodate the needs of the neighborhood.
