Earlier this month, we told you about the new crepe joint that was moving into 25A Essex Street, the 80 square-foot storefront that previously housed xCubicle. The bulky red canopy was deposed in the interim and replaced with a retractable awning. In addition, the upgraded wooden facade was further decorated with branding and window leafing. For its name, the new snack shop aptly chose LES Crepes. Not too creative, but gets the job done.

The owner tells us that shoebox shop will remain open from morning to night, tickling taste buds with both sweet and salty treats. There will also be fresh juices. All business is conducted via window service.

Meanwhile, it looks like LES Crepes is looking for help, specifically a cook who knows how to prepare the batter and operate a crepe maker.

LES Crepes is slated to open on Monday.
