New Crepe Spot to Open at 25A Essex

Around this time last year, XCUBICLE ditched 25A Essex Street and moved to the larger corner store. The space left behind was then renovated for use as a shoebox showroom. A miniscule, 80 square-foot gallery and events space by the hands of Lukas Geronimas and Helga Christoffersen. Those plans didn’t quite take, though.
Instead, a new cafe business is afoot at 25A Essex. One that addresses the growing foodie presence around Seward Park (e.g. Grumpy, Pushcart Coffee, Malt & Mold). A contractor working onsite informs us that the tiny storefront will soon birth some sort of crepe spot. An upgraded wooden facade is also in place.
A welcome addition to the neighborhood?
