The recent spat of filming is becoming somewhat overwhelming, and it’s not abating just yet. Within the last week alone, at least three different productions have invaded the neighborhood – Girls, The Michael J. Fox Show, and Can a Song Save Your Life. May as well add another to the mix, right? Later today, NBC will occupy the Norfolk Street environs north of Delancey for its pilot series The Blacklist.

The Blacklist is a new drama from Sony Pictures Television starring James Spader and Megan Boone, which centers on a fugitive government agent and his willingness to hunt a wanted terrorist.

Here’s a brief synopsis courtesy of The Wrap. Series premiere is September 23.

James Spader plays ex-government agent Raymond “Red” Reddington, who has become one of the FBI’s most wanted fugitives. With ties to an international circuit of criminals, he surprises the FBI by surrendering and offering to help catch a very wanted terrorist. But he’ll only speak with rookie agent Elizabeth “Liz” Keen (Megan Boone).
