9 Stanton Street is no doubt an address familiar with the concept of turnover. Its latest occupant was a dress boutique called Ofori which opened here back in January. Yeah, they didn’t last, joining a long line of previous tenants with the same short-run fate. JillAnne’s sexy card business (and stripper pole), a barbershop called Reamir & Co., and OG tenant Yellow Fever all passed through here in just under a decade.

Now a new utilitarian business is giving it a go. How about a tailor/dry cleaner combo? Stanton St. Cleaners. This seems like it could have a shot, given that there aren’t any close alternatives in the immediate vicinity.

Meanwhile, next door, the old Mangiami space will give way to a project by the dudes behind the Box.
