It’s official. The Orchard Hell Building has now joined the ranks of the new Lower East Side Skyline. And it’s totally late to this party, despite being one of the first out of the gate in 2004 (if you count the demolition). As of this week, however, the future Hotel Indigo at 180 Orchard Street is at approximately eleven stories, about half its projected height.

Boogie reader MM sends us this image taken from his Fourth Street vantage point looking south. The lodge now all but obscures the Brooklyn Bridge.

Target completion date for this muthafuckin monsta is sometime in 2014. Welcome to Orchard Canyons. Enjoy your stay…
