Bowery Graffiti Wall Changing of the Guard; Swoon Next Up

It’s a familiar sight outside the Bowery graffiti wall. An assembly of booms waiting for the order to whitewash what Revok and Pose put here back in July. It’ll be sad to see their piece painted into obscurity.

Meanwhile, we’ve confirmed that the next artist to grace the world famous wall is Swoon. The job is slated to commence today…

Born Caledonia Dance Curry in New London, Connecticut, Swoon specializes in wheat-paste artwork which oftentimes depict members of her family. You’ve probably seen her stuff around the Lower East Side, most notably on the Germania Bank Building at 190 Bowery.
