Swoon Begins Mural Makeover at the Bowery Graffiti Wall

By dusk yesterday, the colorful Revok and Pose mural mashup at the Bowery graffiti wall was deposed. Whitewashed and painted blue-green to make way for the next artist to receive three months of fame. And lest we forget the one tagger who already defaced it.
As we first reported yesterday, that replacement is street artist Swoon, who specializes in wheat-paste figurines.
Goldman Properties owns both the property and this makeshift wall; they’re also responsible for curating the artwork here. Tony Goldman himself passed away last year.
