Centre-fuge Cycle 11 Artwork Now Complete on East 1st Street

Wind and bitter temps of late didn’t keep Centre-fuge veterans from participating in Cycle 11 of the popular open-air gallery on East First Street. The actual trailer painting transpired earlier this week, and the four corrugated sides are now sheathed in murals.

This latest installment is essentially a “best of” compilation featuring contributions from artists that “graduated” the program in the last year – Cake, Caroline Caldwell, Cassie Lynn O’Neal, CS-Navarrete, Damien Miksza, Damien Mitchell, Demer, ELLE, Joseph Meloy, Nicholai Khan, Nicole Salgar, Matthew Denton Burrows, Miishab, Mor, Phetus, Roycer and Yuki.

Murals will remain on display until January 23, 2014. Also, as previously disclosed, the Centre-fuge initiative has a new lease on life. It’s been renewed through 2014.
