Rag & Bone hired LUDO for some art
Artist Yoon Hyup only had a monthlong residency on Elizabeth Street before Rag & Bone decided it was time. The trendy boutique whitewashed the Keith Haring-esque paintwork last week to make way for the next artist in its ongoing Houston/Project street art series. And this mural is a bit more racy.
Rag & Bone tapped the services of LUDO, a Paris-based creative who specializes in connecting “the world of plants and animals with our technological universe and ‘quest for modernism.’” Much of his work incorporates a green-grey color scheme to tell the story. In this instance, he created a hybrid organism by mashing a lime with a helicopter gunship.
