We haven’t seen much in the way of The Cobbler in these parts since late last year. At the time, namely November, the quasi-indie flick transformed a section of working class Forsyth Street into the faux setting that included a shoe shop and barber. Adam Sandler and Method Man spent weeks filming onsite.

Well, it appears production hasn’t quite concluded. More shooting will transpire today at far east end of Delancey Street, in the shadows of the Williamsburg Bridge.

As previously noted, the drama stars Sandler as a cobbler who carries the metaphysical ability to assume the lives of the people whose footwear he fixes. It’s directed by Tom McCarthy and also features Downton Abbey expat Dan Stevens.
