Inside Antonioni’s at 177 Chrystie Street

It took a couple years to reach fruition, but Antonioni’s has finally ripened. The Italian restaurant at 177 Chrystie (at Rivington), designed by Amy Grantham and Luc Levy of Cafe Gitane, soft-opened on Valentine’s Day. Right now they’re only offering dinner service, but brunch is coming this weekend; lunch reportedly starts on March 24.

Much like its crosstown sibling, Antonioni’s focuses on “family style” dining. It appears to be a more casual red sauce type of joint. Sorta like Sauce, located just across Sara D. Roosevelt Park. Except it’s pricier; just give us something from the kids menu.

Below is the full menu for Antonioni’s. There’s also a shiny new website.
